01

One unified process

Architecture, permit material, and coordination are gathered into one calm process from first clarification to execution.

02

Clear written offer

After the free clarification, you receive a written overview of fee, deliverables, responsibilities, consultant contributions, and expected dates.

03

Fewer loose ends

Documentation, consultants, permit material, and execution dialogue stay connected, making the process easier to manage.

Vision

Danish architectural heritage — built for modern living

Many older houses have the character, proportion, and material quality that new homes often lack. But they do not always meet today’s expectations for comfort, technology, energy, and function. DK Arkitekter works with a modern interpretation: facades, materials, and proportions rooted in Danish building tradition — combined with modern layouts, technical solutions, and a documented process.

DK Arkitekter

No standard houses. No reused designs.

Each project is developed as a unique complete solution based on the client, the site, authority requirements, budget, and the architectural references that give the project its character.

Services

Larger private projects — gathered from idea to execution

01

New private villas

For new private homes where placement, proportions, facade, layout, materials, and documentation must be developed as one coherent architectural direction.

02

Full renovation of villas and houses

For existing houses where layout, facade, materials, energy conditions, extensions, and documentation need to be considered as one complete project.

03

Grand residences in historic buildings

For homes in historic settings where existing qualities should be respected, refined, and translated into modern living.

A clear process before design work begins

The written offer and project plan come before concept design, so advisory scope, deliverables, and expectations are clear.

01

Free initial clarification

We clarify the project type, address, ambition, approximate scope, and whether DK Arkitekter is the right match.

02

Written offer and project plan

After the initial clarification, the client receives a written offer with fee, deliverables, assumptions, consultant contributions, and expected delivery dates.

03

Concept design

The architectural direction is developed: layout, volume, light, facade strategy, material direction, and visualizations.

04

Preliminary project

The project is developed with plans, facades, sections, main dimensions, material choices, and technical principles.

05

Permit project

The permit material is prepared and coordinated, including required drawings, descriptions, and relevant technical consultant input.

06

Build-ready documentation

The project becomes a drawing and documentation package that the contractor can price and work from.

07

Execution, supervision, and close contact throughout the entire process

DK Arkitekter stays involved with weekly architectural supervision, close client contact, dialogue with contractor, technical consultants, and relevant authorities, plus clarifications so the client is not left alone with the process.

Add-on

Contractor dialogue

When needed, DK Arkitekter can advise on contractor selection, review contractor offers, and support the dialogue toward execution.

Clear written offer after free clarification

After the initial clarification, you receive a written offer with fee, deliverables, consultant contributions, assumptions, and expected delivery dates. The price depends on the project’s size, complexity, authority requirements, documentation level, and the need for technical consultants and investigations.

Delimitation

Clear responsibility. Fewer worries.

DK Arkitekter does not carry out construction work and does not provide daily construction management on site as standard. We gather architecture, permit material, coordination, and clarifications so responsibilities and deliverables are clear.

The contractor’s actual construction work, daily site management, own quality assurance, bank, financing, and insurance matters, and work outside the agreed project scope are not included as standard.

Major changes during execution that require redesign are handled separately unless they are described in the offer.
